The last time you were having a dream where you were flying, you were experiencing what astral travel was like. Astral travel is the way the astral body moves about in the astral plane, and it does so by flying. You simply think about where it is you want to go and what it is you want and once your physical mind and body are asleep the subconscious mind and astral body are off to fulfill your desires.
A lot of people confuse astral travel with dreaming. When we dream, what happens is that our minds try to process the happenings of the day that could not be resolved in our waking lives. In his book called “Emotional Branding : How Successful Brands Gain the Irrational Edge”, Daryl Travis takes a look at the emotional side of business and explains that a brand name is an emotional symbol.
In order to tap into the methodology needed to make this emotional connection between brand and customer requires a little intuitive thinking.
Automobiles are an excellent example of how the mystique of a brand works on the buying public. If traveling from one place to another was simply all there was to it, why are there so many makes and models of vehicles available? While price indeed is a factor, there is still something else at work here.
How does a Thunderbird or Rolls Royce make you feel? Why does a Jeep scream adventure or a Porsche precision? Each form of transportation we choose really does say something about us because of the emotional connection we make with that brand.
Branded by Geography
The idea of emotional branding even includes geography (city, state, province, country, region etc.). We are often branded by others based upon the State we live in.I’m branded a “Californian” and handled appropriatly according to how people see Californians to be. When I travel out of the country I am branded an American and treated accordingly. The same also applies to cities. For example, while shopping in an elite boutique in San Francisco, my wife let it be known to a friendly, chatty clerk that we lived in the “East Bay” (Oakland, Hayward, San Leandro which apparently do not share the status of San Francisco). The salesperson’s nose immediately rose and the friendly chit-chat stopped.
Branding of the Social Classes
This notion of associating tangible products with intangible emotions reminds me of what Paul Fussell stated in his 1983 publication “Class, A Guide Through the American Status System”. In it he explains that while the concept of class distinction may be viewed by some as a repugnant commentary on American life, it is nonetheless present whether we care to admit it or not.
The application of class distinction is a universal concept. In every culture, there are people that are more abundant in power and money than others. The wealthy discriminate within their own class distincion.
“Social class” is ultimately indefinable. It is much like the concept of what constitutes something as “obscene”. Like Justice Potter Stewart, we as individuals can’t exactly draw the line, “but we know it when we see it”. Class distinction is not just determined by wealth but more importantly by the whole image an individual reveals about themselves.
Try As You Might, You Just Can’t Hide
Everything in our life divulges information about who we really are. What car we drive, the clothes we wear, where we live and work and even how we talk. Incidentally, a business that helps students increase their reading skill used this idea within their own business slogan: “People judge us by the words we use.” Perhaps you have heard of them: “Hooked On Phonics”.
You are familiar with the saying: “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” However, it could be said that the insurance industry earns huge profits by “judging covers”. They are not interested in opening our pages to discover what we are all about. On the surface it may appear that their method of gauging risk is based on prejudiced. A female, age 51, living in a big metro area will pay far less for auto insurance than a male, age 42, living in out in the country. If the city you live in has 150,000 people or more living there you will pay higher premiums than if you lived in a city of just 10,000. Owning a Volks Wagen would ensure lower insurance rates than if you owned a Rolls Royce. Insurance companies are in business to make a profit. What guarantees them those profits are the factual stats they accumulate.
The insurance industry is not alone in this. And you do it as well. In fact, we all think in terms of branding based upon what we “think we know“. You have an opinion (we all do) and because of it you are biased. If you reject peaches that are bruised, you are discriminating and practicing segregation by selecting peaches that do not have bruises. In reality you are prejudice against soft spots on fruit. It is who you are that determines what you do and what products you bring home all based on category thinking.
Branding also has the same function, designed to promote expectations and hopefully, positive behavior such as purchasing. The brand Porche declares “Precision Engineering”. Budweiser promotes its brand myth by stating: “Where there’s life, there’s Bud”. In essence, “Without bud you have no life”. The brand creates a myth designed to resonate with their target market. Marketing is all about connecting you with the myth in the hopes of directing your behavior.
The simple conclusion to all of this is: What we do, and what we have are all inseparable from who we are.

Do you know there are many more individuals who do believe in reincarnation than there are that do not? For some it is a way of life as in the instance of Buddhists and Hindus, as part of their religious beliefs. While many may be merely curious or looking to explore answers to some of the mysteries of life, many others may consider that it just makes the most sense when considering past lives. There are various ways to find out more about your past lives.
Journaling Your Experiences
A journal or diary is a very effective tool to have providing you use it to record all the past lives experiences you have. Furthermore, together with writing down your experiences, it’s fundamental that you make a note with regards to the way in which each experience affected you emotionally. This is extremely important due to the fact that one’s emotions are nearly always the most dependable indicator you have. A well kept journal with provide invaluable assistance in helping you place all the pieces together at a later stage.
You can look for such clues in your present daily life. Meditation
Meditation is one of the various ways to aid you in exploring your past lives. While meditating may feel like a daydream, and images are flowing in and out, there may be some valuable information coming through. Write it all down and ponder it later. Current studies tend to suggest that a feeling of deep relaxation is instantly experienced, similar to that which is experience by Zen monk when they meditate.
You need a place of peace to practice your meditation, somewhere where you will not be disturbed, whichever method you choose.
Your top priority is to be in a relaxed position while maintaining an open and receptive state of mind. Furthermore, don’t expect or hope for anything more that a feeling of deep relaxation. In most cases you’ll experience an abundance of thoughts attempting to interrupt your session but with a little practice, you’ll soon learn how to handle this effectively, simply by acknowledging them and then allowing them to pass by. Likewise, many questions will keep coming to mind as well but here again, simply address them and them put them aside. Once you achieve a suitable state of mind, the answers to the questions you have will come to you and in the vast majority of cases, they’ll come to you when you’re least expecting them to.
The pictures you get in your mind will help you to determine something in your life whether or not you believe in reincarnation. Of course, you may not be sure the images are from a previous life but sometimes people are able to piece together sufficient information to carry out research and verify the names, places and occasions which have arisen.
Another thing often discovered is that those close to you now also played a part in your previous life, although the relationship may well be different. For instance, your father in your present life may have been your brother previously.

Most couples making wedding day plans have a lot of things that they do take into consideration. They coordinate the date according to vacation times from work. Or they coordinate the day on what is best maybe for family to make it into town. Or they make plans according to the availability of the church or restaurant.
But one of the biggest things couples fail to plan for is the photographer. This is no small matter. And I am not just saying it because I am a wedding photographer.
No planning the wedding day with the wedding photographer in mind could mean all the difference in the world. Especially when you consider the pictures are what is going to be captured for a lifetime.
What are the things to think about when making plans with the photographer in mind. The date and time.
Let’s start with the time. How many couples would want their photographer rushing through the photo shoot? I am pretty sure most people will not raise their hand to that.
Not even thinking about your photographer, most of the times the bride and groom will do just that. The couple or family basically rush the photographer to try and take all the pictures.
How so you say? Well a lot of times, the couple will schedule the ceremony for let’s say 1-2 pm. With the reception beginning at 2:30. How many shots can a photographer make when he only has a half hour to work with? Not many.
Even worse, let’s say he does take all the shots? Do you think they can take some real good shots if they are being rushed? No way.
So plan the wedding times and the receptions accordingly making sure there is ample time to take photos.
The second factor to consider when planning is to check your photographer’s availability.
Most probably don’t realize this, but most good photographers will be booked months in advance. And if you are dealing with let’s say a large photography company, they may have several photographers.
Well without considering your photographers availability on the wedding day could turn into a disaster. Because when you reserve that special day, without making sure your photographer is available, come wedding day you might get a shock when you find somebody totally different.
This scenario happens when you are dealing with a big company. You might not realize they have plenty of photographers on staff, and if the photographer you fell in love with is booked, unless you specifically ask, the company might not tell you. When the wedding day comes, a second rate photographer or worse yet, they might outsource the work and somebody else will show up.
So be ready by not letting this happen. Planning your wedding day is wonderful. Make sure that your plan has the wedding photographer in mind as well.

With all the publicity about the cosmic ordering service in the last few years, numerous people now know about it being possible to ask the Universe for anything you desire and it will grant it to you.
Of course, with the media often running articles concerning celebrities who swear by it, more ordinary people are now wanting a slice of the cake as well. However, for many people, the question still remains, what are my chances of success?
The fact of the matter is that the cosmic order can work for everyone. However, if you have tried and not had any success then you should look deeper. The chances are you were subconsciously preventing yourself from obtaining the things you desire.
The cosmic ordering service is available to everyone to use. The service gives you whatever is desired. People say though that they did not request to be ill, ask to be broke (money wise), and unhappy and they would be saying a true statement.
The problem is not the cosmic ordering service, but rather the way you channel your desires. Avoid saying things such as; I really don’t want to get ill. This is a negative manner in which to seek your desires.
You should aim to seek desires from a more positive aspect so, instead of what you don’t want, rather desire what you do want. For example, you could say, I’m so healthy it’s of little wonder that I never get ill.
Perhaps you have failed here as well and if so, you’re not alone. Many people who attempt this, tend to affirm how they are at present, instead of how they could be with a little help from the universe. When you make affirmations, think to the future and how perfect it can be, rather than dwell on the imperfect present moment.
Life also exposes us to other people’s beliefs too. When are in school they tease each other about various things and this can affect the one that is being teased and alter their belief in themselves.
In a perfect world, a child would grow up with support and knowledge that they deserve all that they want. Instead, children are taught that it’s wrong to want a lot. It’s bad to receive whatever you want unless you work hard and long hours, and then you also have to have a special reason that you deserve the reward.
This is all wrong. There is more than enough for everyone. The fact that you exist means you’re allowed to order. You cannot take from others. This actually negates the system.
You may believe you have to snare someone else’s wealth to have enough of what you desire, If you think this way you will just enforce the negative side of the belief. This states that everyone has more than you do and that you do not have any wealth. In place of this rejoice for the others and acknowledge that there is plenty of wealth to go around to all.
The human brain can move a quark, the smallest particle we know of, simply by sending out waves of energy. This is not theory, but rather a fact which has been proven by modern science. Positive thinking releases positive energy and positive energy, gets positive results.
You can’t just say magical phrases and redo your old beliefs and patterns. You need to totally throw those negative beliefs and patterns away! They have a way of staying put in your mind with a firm hold; you need to utilize your tools to chase them out of your mind.
There are numerous tools but two which always spring to mind, are self-hypnosis and subliminal suggestion. Both these powerful tools avoid interference from the logical processes of our brain and instead, they go to work on our subconscious minds, the area in which our beliefs are embedded.
You can control your destiny by ordering exactly what you want. You have to be strong enough to believe that you’ll get it. Use techniques that help you reinforce your belief that the cosmic ordering system gives you everything you desire.

Every human being can learn telepathy. This ability translates to sensing and transmitting feelings over a distance, without using any of the five physical senses or using words. This kind of mind to mind communication works instantly and can even cross enormous distances.
If you think you can’t learn telepathy, it’s time to reassess things. You may already have had a telepathic experience of some kind, but there’s a good chance you didn’t know that was what was happening. You may not have noticed it at all! One common type is thinking about someone you haven’t thought about or talked to for a long time, then getting a phone call or email from them shortly afterward.
Essentially, a telepathic connection was established that day. Emotions came into play, and your wish to hear about that person or to figure out what they have been up to translated itself into a connection that you “communicated” your wish through.
This telepathic contact encouraged them to get in touch with you. Perhaps you were the first person to think of them, and the other person received your emotions and felt like contacting you. For one reason or another, too many people think that telepathy is something that they cannot or should not do. Perhaps they have strong religious beliefs and telepathy falls under the heading of something evil, or unnatural. They might also have discovered that they were capable of it and merely squashed it down and forgot all about it. One major barrier to learning to be telepathic is a myth believed by many people who actually practice this type of communication. The next thing to do is to send a thought through that thread or from one light into the other. This is like a web transmission or phone call. Keep it simple to start with and go with the clearest thought possible. Make it something the other person can’t guess without contact, though!
When you feel that the telepathic transmission has been completed, the next step is contacting your partner to ask them if they saw anything, and what it was if they did. Compare notes, then trade places and have the other person send.

Have you heard about the latest therapy for stammering? Now this is not your usual treatment via your local speech and language therapist, this is what is known as "specialist stammering treatment". Steve Hill, aged 35 and from Birmingham, UK, developed a stammer when he was just four years of age. Despite attending the many different forms of speech and language therapy classes for many years the stammer continued to plague his life until he was aged twenty-two.

Sometimes known as conscious dreaming, Lucid Dreaming is the art of keeping self aware and knowing that one is dreaming while in a dream. This includes being conscious that the events unfolding around you are only part of the dream and being able to exercise control over the dream. All of this is possible for the person who has learned how to use lucid dreaming.
The power of having complete control over the direction of your dreams is something straight out of metaphysical existence. Suddenly, all the limitations you ever felt in life just cease to exist.
But is it as simple as it looks like? Can everyone experience lucid dreaming and bring to life what otherwise seems difficult or impossible in this reality?
Luckily, it’s really not that hard to begin lucid dreaming, as long as you are determined to learn it. There are proven ways to help you access this ability and use your untapped mental power.
You need to know what you hope to achieve through lucid dreaming. Are you after something specific which can help you with other areas of your life, or do you just want to turn your dreams into a playpen of the imagination? Whatever your reason for wanting to learn lucid dreaming, know your goal and be determined to reach it.
Then starts the actual process of learning this art. Firstly, you need to learn a process, called Dream Recall, i.e., recalling a dream you had the previous night. Unless you remember a dream, you can’t achieve the stage of lucid dreaming.
This isn’t going to happen overnight (if you’ll forgive the pun). Many find it helpful to keep a dream recall register, which is a sort of dream diary. Some individuals have found that the time for preparing the subconscious mind for experiencing lucid dreaming is reduced greatly by having hypnosis. Occasionally you may find yourself wide awake while you are lucid dreaming. You will be able to easily recall all the vital details of a dream with the power you have so far achieved. Simply allow yourself to relax and go back to sleep. You can continue your dream in your desired direction. You will begin to realize that you have experienced the power of conscious dreaming the previous night, after you wake up.
Another good way of inducing lucid dreams is to wake a few hours earlier than usual, then go back to sleep. The dreams you will have in these few hours are the easiest to make into lucid dreams. You may even find yourself unsure whether you have been sleeping or just thinking to yourself as you lay in bed. Just set your alarm for a few hours early, wake and reset the alarm and then go back to sleep and you will be more likely to have lucid dreams.
When learning lucid dreaming, it helps to be well aware of your sleep patterns so you know when the best times for you to have lucid dreams are.
